Sandton backup generators will need to work a little harder this week as Eskom announces Stage 4 load-shedding from 12-Noon today until 5am on October 29.
A week ahead of the local government elections residents, businesses and visitors will have to deal with rolling blackouts in Sandton as load-shedding returns until the weekend.
Residents and visitors to Sandton will be left without power again, as Eskom implements Stage 2 load-shedding from 9pm tonight until 5am on Monday at short notice.
Sandton will have to brace itself for another wave of darkness as Eskom implements Stage 2 load-shedding once more as part of an attempt to ‘replenish emergency generation reserves’.
