South Africa will take on Argentina on 15 May 2021 at the Inanda Club in Sandton for the Aon Inanda International Polo, a major polo fixture on the social sports calendar. As the teams did not face each other in the planned 2020 clash, the 2021 match is eagerly-awaited among polo fans.
- South Africa defeated Argentina, 7-5, in a 90-minute action packed match at the 2019 Aon Inanda International.
- The event will be held under the patronage of the Argentine Embassy in South Africa.

The month of May also celebrates Revolution Day in the Argentine calendar, marking the anniversary of the first independent government in Buenos Aires.
Polo as an International sport has brought together many players from different countries, each with different dynamics to the game. The Coronel Suarez family relationship with South Africa and Argentine Polo dates back to the early 1950s, when a team first challenged South Africa.
