The stage is set for the highly anticipated return of Emirates Dubai 7s, serving as the opening round on 2 – 3 December 2023.

 

Defending Champions and Aspirations: New Zealand steps onto the field to defend their men’s and women’s titles from the 2023 season, bringing a formidable team that clinched victories in Sydney, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Toulouse last year. Meanwhile, South Africa’s men and Australia’s women aim to replicate their victories at The Sevens Stadium in December 2022.

 

New Look HSBC SVNS 2024: The revamped HSBC SVNS 2024 introduces a fresh format, comprising seven regular season events and a Grand Final. The stakes are higher with promotion and relegation in play, adding an extra layer of excitement to the season. The top eight teams based on cumulative series points at the conclusion of the seventh round in Singapore secure their spot in the ‘winner takes all’ Grand Final in Madrid.

 

Pools and Schedule Unveiled: The announcement of pools and schedule adds to the anticipation of the opening round. Emirates Dubai 7s, a mainstay since its inception in 1999, promises an unforgettable experience with the best 12 men’s and women’s rugby sevens teams competing on two fields over two days, featuring a total of 64 matches.
