In the realm of distilled delights, few names resonate as strongly as Musgrave Crafted Spirits. This boutique distillery celebrates a sense of adventure with every sip, inviting you to embark on a journey of flavors and stories that transcend borders and time.

The roots of this exceptional venture trace back to 1949 when Maurice Boon Musgrave set sail from Plymouth, England, to Africa, igniting an odyssey that would forever shape his legacy. Enduring three months of sea voyage with an infant, battling measles, and facing the tumultuous waves, Musgrave’s journey was one of resilience and exploration. This very spirit, infused with the African soil and its people, continues to inspire his granddaughter, Simone Musgrave, the guardian of his passion for the extraordinary.

Founded in Cape Town in 2015 by Simone Musgrave, Musgrave Spirits have become synonymous with quality, luxury, and proudly African heritage. At the forefront of South Africa’s gin revolution, Musgrave Gin introduced a symphony of botanicals that danced on the palate. The original Musgrave 11 was just the beginning, as Simone unveiled Musgrave Pink, South Africa’s inaugural pink gin, which garnered raving reviews and enthusiasm.

Musgrave Pink Gin, bedazzled with botanical finery, gracefully seduces even the most discerning gin connoisseur. A delicate interplay of rose hips, Cardamom, African Ginger, and Grains of Paradise sourced from the African continent results in a symphony of flavors that delight and enthrall. The addition of rosewater infuses an exotic perfume and depth, creating an enchanting potion that captures the heart.

Simone Musgrave’s dedication to her family’s legacy and her own journey as a businesswoman in Africa shines through in every bottle of Musgrave Spirits.

In the dynamic landscape of the South African automotive industry, few names stand as prominently as Andreas Brand, the visionary CEO of Mercedes-Benz South Africa. With a legacy spanning an impressive 65 years, Mercedes-Benz has left an indelible mark on the nation’s automotive landscape and supply chains, a testament to the brand’s enduring commitment to excellence and innovation.

Over the past six and a half decades, Mercedes-Benz has evolved from a pioneering presence to a manufacturing powerhouse, shaping the industry’s trajectory in profound ways.

In a defining move that underlines Mercedes-Benz’s dedication to the region, June 2021 witnessed the announcement of a monumental R13-billion investment earmarked for the expansion of the South African plant. This strategic initiative aims to fortify the production of the current C-Class, not only reaffirming Mercedes-Benz’s unwavering commitment to quality but also nurturing the growth of local talent and expertise.

However, the brand’s influence extends beyond assembly lines and production figures. A visionary commitment to sustainability has emerged as a defining feature of Mercedes-Benz’s future-forward strategy. With an audacious goal to transition to an all-electric portfolio by the close of the decade, the brand recognizes the importance of aligning with local market conditions.

Mercedes-Benz South Africa’s 65-year milestone is not just a celebration of past achievements but a resounding declaration of intent to drive South Africa’s automotive landscape into a future illuminated by innovation, sustainability, and unwavering excellence.
