With an all too familiar launch event cocktail, NBCUniversal International Networks together with DStv gathered media and stakeholders at TANG Restaurant in Sandton, to announce the launch of another streaming service across Africa – Universal+.
Local NBCUniversal talent formed part of the launch proceedings, which also featured live music performances. TANG certainly did not disappoint, serving up a decadent, wide range of tapas style dishes with a hint of African influence, including Oysters, Black Cod, Dim Sum as well as their famous Salted Caramel Fondant dessert, complimented by attentive service.
From popular dramas to reality series, Universal+ boasts a huge selection of full boxsets to bingeworthy content, new shows and movies from popular linear channels like Universal TV, E!, DreamWorks, Studio Universal and Telemundo – all in one place.
DStv subscribers will be able to stream thousands of hours of entertainment at no extra cost by visiting Catch Up on the DStv App or connected Explora and selecting Universal+.
From Friday 14 October, the incredible line-up of entertainment available to DStv customers ranges from award-winning original production Celebrity Game Night – which shortly goes back into production for a fourth season – to gripping dramas and Hollywood blockbusters. And it’s all at no extra cost to a subscription.
