Wine enthusiasts, mark your calendars! The prestigious Trophy Wine Show, sponsored by Investec, is set to host its highly anticipated 2024 Public Tastings in Sandton and Cape Town this June.

Following the announcement of the 2024 winners on 4 June 2024, these single-night events will provide a rare opportunity to sample an exquisite selection of award-winning wines.
The Public Tastings will feature an impressive lineup of over 150 distinguished wines, including silver, gold, and trophy winners.
This is a unique chance to toast, taste, and deliberate on some of the finest wines, with many available for purchase through specialist wine retailer, Port2Port.

The event promises to be a highlight for wine aficionados, showcasing the Best White and Best Red Wines of the Show, the International Judges’ trophy winner, the Discovery of the Show (best value wine), and the Best Premium Wine. Additionally, the medallists from the Most Successful Producer category will take centre stage.

Patrons will also have the opportunity to taste museum-class vintages, which are at least four years old for white wines and eight years for red and sparkling wines. Alongside these acclaimed selections, new releases from beloved wineries and lesser-known gems will be featured.

Date: Wednesday, 12 June 2024
Venue: Sandton Convention Centre (Bill Gallagher Room), Maude Street, Sandton
Time: 5pm to 9pm (No first entry after 8:30pm)
Tickets: R295 per single entry, including the sampling of all wines, a delicious deli snack worth R100, and a tasting glass to take home.

The results of the 2024 Trophy Wine Show will be announced on 4 June 2024, in Paarl. The wines presented at the Trophy Wine Show were meticulously judged by an esteemed panel chaired by Michael Fridjhon in early May. A total of 650 wines were assessed to identify the best in various categories, ensuring that only the finest make it to the public tastings. From 5 June 5 to 5 July 2024, the award-winning wines will be available for purchase through Port2Port’s online platform, ensuring that those who cannot attend the tastings still have the opportunity to enjoy these exceptional wines.
