South Africa is about to experience a long-awaited musical first. Multi-million record selling Irish superstars, The Corrs, have announced that they will be bringing their Talk On Corners’ Summer 2025 Tour to local stages this November – marking their very first tour on South African soil. Fans can look forward to two unforgettable nights of music and nostalgia: 22 November 2025 at SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria, and 25 November 2025 at Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town.
After spending a few years touring solo, it’s been a total thrill to be back on the road with my family. We all have our moments, but there is no better place than being on stage with the band.

Made up of siblings Andrea (lead vocals, piano, tin whistle), Sharon (violin, piano, vocals), Caroline (drums, piano, vocals), and Jim (guitar, keyboards, vocals), the group has sold more than 40-million albums worldwide since their 1995 debut Forgiven Not Forgotten. From Runaway to Breathless, their catalogue boasts a string of timeless hits that remain firm favourites on playlists around the globe.
Moments like this have enabled us to dig deeper into our repertoire and play some songs we haven’t done before.

The Corrs’ second album, Talk On Corners (1997), was the record that catapulted them into superstardom. Featuring unforgettable tracks such as So Young, What Can I Do, and Dreams (their celebrated Fleetwood Mac cover), it cemented their place on the international stage. The band’s combination of pop-rock accessibility with distinctly Irish instrumentation made them stand out at a time when Britpop dominated the charts.
To be able to honour Talk on Corners with a tour all those years later was truly amazing, and to follow that with a summer of outdoor shows has been incredible. We have to say a huge thank you to all our fans for embracing this.

The Sandton Times had the privilege of catching the group live at the Royal Albert Hall in London earlier this year, and their performance remains as spirited and moving as ever. From Andrea’s soaring vocals to Sharon’s evocative violin and Caroline’s driving rhythms, the band’s live presence still carries the same heart and soul that first won them audiences nearly three decades ago.
The Corrs’ return to touring has been nothing short of spectacular. In November 2023, they relaunched their live career with a run of sold-out shows across Southeast Asia and Australia. Since then, their Talk On Corners celebration tour has filled arenas in the UK and Ireland, and they’ve recently wrapped up a series of stunning outdoor concerts across Europe as part of their Summer Sunshine 2025 series.
Beyond their tour schedule, The Corrs are already looking forward to the future. With whispers of a new album in the pipeline, fans have every reason to be excited about what’s next. The band seems reinvigorated, embracing opportunities to share their music with audiences around the globe – and now, for the first time, in South Africa.
For local fans who grew up listening to their music, the announcement feels like a long-overdue gift. For younger audiences, it’s a chance to experience a band whose influence continues to ripple across contemporary pop and folk-inspired music.
Tickets will be available exclusively through Ticketmaster from 9am on Friday, 22 August 2025. Tickets will also be accessible via Big Concerts.
The Corrs’ Talk On Corners’ Summer 2025 Tour promises more than just a trip down memory lane – it’s a celebration of music, family, and a legacy that has touched millions. Expect to hear the songs that defined an era, delivered with the warmth, energy, and authenticity that only The Corrs can bring. For South Africa, this isn’t just another concert. It’s history in the making – a long-awaited first that will undoubtedly leave audiences breathless!
