- Johannesburg restaurants Flames at the Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff, The Grillhouse Melrose Arch and The Grillhouse Rosebank featured on the Top 10 list.
- The Bungalow in Clifton, Kloof Street House in Gardens and The Fat Butcher in Stellenbosch made up 30% of the 2022 Dineplan Top 10 list.

Just under 1-million South Africans use Dineplan to reserve tables and leave online reviews for more than 2’000 restaurants across the country and abroad. Considered to be one of the top restaurant reservation services in South Africa, Dineplan has released its list of most-booked restaurants in the country, with Sandton ranking highly. Some of the Sandton restaurant’s making the most-booked restaurants list on Dineplan in 2022 include:
TANG Nelson Mandela Square
TANG is known for its opulent and sensory dining experience that is modelled after modern izakayas in Japan and traditional Cantonese restaurants in Hong Kong. The news that TANG landed in the Mother City late last year also had Capetonians ready to try the cuisine many Sandtonites had been spoilt with for some time longer! TANG at the V&A Waterfront is expected to be one of the hottest places to eat out in Cape Town and certainly deserves its spot on the Dineplan list.
Aurum Restaurant
Aurum, located inside The Leonardo, one of Johannesburg’s most renowned buildings, delivers an outstanding gastronomic experience and it’s not suprising, diners are wanting a bite or three. Their notable menu offers a contemporary take on European cooking and it has become a haven for fine-dining foodies, serving up nostalgic cuisine meant to connect with customers on a deeper or emotional level.
