Partnering with Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA), Sandton Central Management District (SCMD) has illuminated more streets, addressing the devastating blow to businesses and residents brought about by loadshedding. Having reached a significant milestone with over 90% of Sandton Central’s traffic light intersections remaining functional during power outages, the project see’s private sector stepping in to keep city traffic flowing.
