It’s been a week of sparkling fruit beverage launches in Sandton. In the same week as Brutal Fruit revealed it’s latest release, business woman and media personality Boitumelo ‘Boity’ Thulo, hosted the launch of her drink, BT Signature.

Boity took to her social media accounts to offer a peek into the launch party for her new drink. The intimate gathering is believed to have taken place at Athol Place House and Villa in Sandton. Invited guests included Lorna Maseko, Jessica Nkosi, Somizi and Lasizwe, along with 50 other celebrity friends and family.

Available as BT Signature Peach flavoured sparkling frizzante (alcoholic) and BT Signature Peach flavoured sparkling fruit nectar (non-alcoholic), Boity put her stamp on the brand with her initials BT, quite fitting as the major shareholder in BTMK Beverages, the company producing BT Signature.

BT Signature is the result of a partnership with celebrated winemaker, Matthew Krone, a 12th generation winemaker, wine consultant and wine marketer, Francois Rozon, the long term Managing Director of Appletiser who helped globalise the brand, and Steve Powell and Jacki McEwen-Powell of Eclipse Communications.

Launching BT Signature has been a dream come true. I’m excited to share this night with all of my friends and family, and look forward to the rest of South Africa enjoying it as much as I do.

The product, the latest in a range of goods carrying the Boity brand, is described as ‘juicy ripe peach aromas overlayed with hints of nectarine, and bursting with memories of summer’ boasting an ‘uplifting peach flavour balanced with crisp green apple freshness and lingering fresh aftertaste’.

BT Signature will be available at Shoprite LiquorShop stores countrywide, retailing at around R99.95 (non-alcoholic 4-pack / less than 0.5% alcohol per bottle) and R119.95 (alcoholic 4-pack / 4.5% alcohol per bottle). Single 275ml bottles are also available at around R24.99 (non-alcoholic) and R29.99 (alcoholic) each.
