It’s the highly anticipated return of India, battling it out on horseback against South Africa. This 2023 dress theme, ‘Bold With A Touch of Green’, celebrates green, a colour that symbolises giving and harmony and the boldness of using what you have to lift those around you – the embodiment of what it means to be a new noble.

The South African Polo Association has always enjoyed a very good relationship with Indian Polo, and we have held two previous international events against them in this series. With the Indian Polo Association (IPA) being founded in 1892, the country has a rich heritage in the sport, and we can look forward to a highly competitive encounter.

Sandton has long had a close association with horses and equestrian sports, dating back to the days before its official founding. Part of that history is the Inanda Club, founded in 1934, which ranks as one of the most prestigious polo clubs in Southern Africa. Nestled in the heart of the Sandton, the venue’s rich equestrian history provides an elegant backdrop for the country’s most anticipated polo events.

There are numerous hospitality options available for those wanting to experience the Nedbank International Polo, from the Hendrick’s Gin Garden situated on the halfway line to the field-side picnics hosting 10 guests, with VIP spaces and catering options available.

Public Tickets which provide access to the East Bank side of the polo field, which is the opposite side of the field to the main clubhouse, are available through Quicket.
