The well-established Jordan Restaurant is on the cusp of seeing a change of kitchen guard and for those fast enough, there’s a chance to taste two great Chefs, back to back, plating up their best dishes.

Under the skillful hands of George Jardine, the Jordan Restaurant can certainly boast not only an impressive menu but also one of the most beautiful views of the Cape Winelands and mountains. The incredible setting is only to be matched by an equally popular menu that has kept patrons returning to the Jordan Restaurant for well over a decade.

 

We managed to try some of the classics that make Jordan Restaurant a spot for locals and visitors alike, looking to taste a slice of the Cape Winelands life:

The steamed Saldanha Mussels, Chalmar Sirloin, and Honey and Poppyseed Soufflé remain signature dishes. Also, don’t miss the opportunity of trying some crispy hand-cut chips on the side!

 

In 2022, the restaurant will see a new Chef at the helm. The Jordan Restaurant will welcome a new name as it appears as part of its sign – Chef Marthinus Ferreira. Known for his work at DW Eleven-13 in Johannesburg, Chef Ferreira will take over as head chef from mid-April 2022 bringing his own signature flavours to the table – we can’t wait to try some of the new dishes!
