The F1 calendar for the upcoming season comprises 24 races, commencing in Bahrain on 2 March 2024 and concluding in Abu Dhabi on 8 December 2024. Emphasising a commitment to regionalisation for logistical efficiency and sustainability, F1 has adjusted the schedule.
The rearrangement also involves shifting the Japan Grand Prix to April, Azerbaijan to September, and organising Qatar back-to-back with Abu Dhabi, enhancing the flow of races in specific regions. The ongoing effort to regionalise the calendar acknowledges the inherent challenges of a global championship, considering climatic and contractual constraints that necessitate some unavoidable travel beyond regionalisation.

If the news that Lewis Hamilton is off to Ferrari for 2025 wasn’t enough dramatic news for this season, there’s some good news. Netflix have announced that Formula 1: Drive To Survive will land on their streaming service once more. The latest installment of the hugely popular series will once again take fans into F1’s inner circle, showing how drivers and teams geared up for the 2023 season – and all the twists and turns that followed – also, possibly Guenther Steiner’s last appearance on the series having left his role as Team Principal of Haas F1 Team.
Season 6 of Drive To Survive will be released on 23 February 2024, coinciding with the final day of pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit. That will serve as ideal viewing before the opening round at the same venue a week later.
