After a short break, the Sandton City Drive-In Theater in partnership with Ster-Kinekor has returned and will run Thursday to Sunday, until August 29.

After a short break under alert level 4 lockdown, the Sandton City Drive-In Theater or City Drive-In reopens and promises a fabulous night out for movie lovers of all ages.
With everyone safe and warm in their car, it’s a shared movie experience without concern. There’s something for everyone to enjoy from the latest releases to those you just might want to sing along to – and where better than in your car.
The Sandton City Drive-In Theater is a cashless and contactless environment, with refreshments available for purchase prior to your arrival, when checking out on Quicket. Limited refreshments will also be available on the rooftop from the Ster-Kinekor concession stand or food can also be purchased from Sandton City’s Food District, located on level 4.
When leaving your car, always wear your mask correctly at all times by covering your nose and mouth as well as practice physical distancing by standing at least 2 meters apart from other movie lovers.
Restroom facilities are available on levels 4 and 6 and can be accessed using the lifts or stairs, located in the entrance foyer.
