South African Fashion Week 2023 Opens In Sandton

Setting the stage for what’s to be expected at this season’s South African Fashion Week (SAFW), CRUZ Vodka officiated the opening for the three-day event with a cocktail party in Sandton.

As guests arrived, the red carpet turned into a runway of its own, with attendees pushing the boundaries of style and creativity. Synonymous with being a popular event that ushers in the South African Fashion Week, guests were treated to an evening of music, drinks and fashion.

 

As attendees mingled, sharing their passion for fashion against the backdrop of the Sandton skyline, the theme for the night, inspired by the iconic New York City, permeated every aspect of the event—a perfect complement to kick-start a week of what can only be described as a celebration of South African fashion.

Amidst the clinking of glasses and the murmur of excited conversations, the anticipation reached its zenith with an electrifying performance by South African artist Khuli Chana alongside the vibrant beats by DJ’s Just Judie and Denise Marz.

 

The Mall of Africa, the venue for the upcoming runway shows, is set to transform into a haven for fashionistas and trendsetters alike, eager to witness the evolution of South African fashion.
