Karaoke Kong with Owner Ewoudt Cloute

Herman and Ewoudt invested their life savings after spotting a gap in the market in an effort to fulfil a desire that practically every guy must have harboured at some point. Image: Karaoke Kong

Karaoke Kong is the classic story of two guys who wanted to start their own bar and restaurant. Herman and Ewoudt both have prosperous corporate positions, but their full-time employment with corporations was insufficient.

They hope you appreciate Karaoke Kong as much as they do since it perfectly captures the hilarious and positive nature of this dynamic combo! They designed a karaoke bar filled with a creative and artistic atmosphere. The theme of the 1980s music television and video game era is driven by the fact that the area is centered around music. The design team (led by Kim H. Nieu) made a “wink-wink” reference to this cool historical era.

The interior has been thoughtfully designed, with pockets of delight interspersed throughout to capture energy and give every customer a taste of fun.

The Crown: Season 5

This fictional dramatization chronicles the narrative of Queen Elizabeth II and the political and private events that influenced her reign. It is inspired by actual events. The royal family is facing what might be their largest hurdle to date in the coming decade: demonstrating their enduring relevance in 1990s Britain. The basis of the royal family is beginning to fracture as Diana and Charles engage in a media battle.

Trevor Noah: I Wish You Would

Emmy-winning comedian Trevor Noah talks learning German, speaking ill of the dead, judging people in horror movies and ordering Indian food in Scotland.

Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?

The year was 1996, and the cola wars were raging. Pepsi needed something huge to compete with Coke so they rolled out their biggest campaign ever: “Pepsi Stuff” It featured a soon-to-be infamous commercial that claimed for 7,000,000 Pepsi points you could win a Harrier Jet (one of the most advanced military jets of the time). Pepsi execs assumed the astronomical “price” of the military plane was set high enough to indicate it was a joke, but ambitious & cunning college student John Leonard saw it as a challenge.

Enlisting the help (and funding) of mountaineering buddy Todd Hoffman, the 21-year old hashed out a plan to score the grandest prize of all. What ensues is an outrageous goose chase for the infamous Harrier Jet and a legal battle with Pepsi that changed advertising forever.
