Tsitsi Chiumya is a multi-award-winning South African comedian and writer whose quick wit, charisma, and gentle style of comedy have earned him a place as one of South Africa’s most formidable comedians.

 

Following his first one-man show, ‘So Naïve’, Tsitsi presents his second one-man show, ‘Bread Winner’ – a show about the misadventures of being a newly-minted adult. In this special, he shares his hilariously relatable observations about the process of exploring the misguided zeal for life that comes with growing up.

New Album ‘Grateful’ with Ralf Schmitt of the Ndlovu Youth Choir

The Ndlovu Youth Choir has dropped their album ‘Grateful’ with their lead single ‘Afrika Hey’ featuring Sun El Musician on all digital platforms.

 

Since the inception of the Ndlovu Youth Choir 13 years ago, the talented collective has become one of the world’s most beloved and celebrated choirs. The Ndlovu Youth Choir has come far from performing at America’s Got Talent, creating soul-stirring renditions of well-known covers to collaborating with critically acclaimed artists on original songs

 

The choir alongside Sun-El Musician and Director Bruce Patterson of Pilot Films shot the video for “Afrika Hey” this past Tuesday in Braamfontein. Fans and audiences can expect to experience Beauty, Jozi, Africa, and a lot of energy! in the form of “Afrika Hey” Visuals. Watch the BTS HERE.

 

The new album stays true to Ndlovu’s unique sound, style, and breath-taking harmonies, with a mix of Amapiano and hip hop on the five original tracks. The 14-track project hosts several collaborations namely with rapper 25K, Sun-El Musician, Tyler ICU, and the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain.

 

Sandton City Loves Local Design Initiative with AlexBiz
Sandton City has long been renowned as South Africa’s fashion capital, and now, eight exciting upcoming designers from Alexandra, Katlehong, and Soweto will be displaying their creations in the center until May 20.

 

Organised by AlexBiz in partnership with Rays of Hope, the display in the center’s aisles will enable these designers to showcase their creativity to the country’s most astute fashionistas in this sought-after retail environment. Mannequins displaying their works will be placed throughout Sandton City so that the center’s over 2 million monthly visitors can draw inspiration from these innovative fashion pieces.

 

Shoppers can view the designers’ creations throughout Sandton with information about each designer and their contact details, displayed alongside their pieces.

The Constantia Showcase is bringing the very best of the Constantia Wine Route to greater Sandton. Established in 1685 as one of the original Cape farms, the wine route is now divided into just nine, premium estates – Beau Constantia, Buitenverwachting, Constantia Glen, Constantia Royale, Eagles Nest, Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, Silvermist, and Steenberg. Collectively, the farms have over 421 hectares of vine.

The ticket price includes a complimentary glass, all wine tastings, and a selection of gourmet cheese, antipasti deli, and artisanal breads.
