Following the originally planned visit to Cape Town (South Africa) the new itinerary boasts captivating additions such as Walvis Bay, Namibia, and Praia, Ilha de Santiago, Cape Verde. The ship then ventures into the Mediterranean, exploring iconic ports like Gibraltar, Alexandria, Athens, Rome, and Barcelona. Additionally, newly added ports including Valletta, Malta, Tangier, Morocco, and Kusadasi, Turkey, promise enriching experiences and cultural immersion for travellers.
By eliminating the route through the Red Sea (affecting only the final 43 days of the 124-day journey) after extensive consultation with security experts and government authorities, the cruise line aims to provide travellers with increased certainty and peace of mind as they embark on this remarkable voyage around the globe.
