Festival of Lights at the Johannesburg Zoo

Joburg Ballet will once again be performing at the Festival of Lights at the Johannesburg Zoo, until December 4.

  • Joburg Ballet is presenting a festive package filled with highlights from Iain MacDonald’s magical production of Cinderella.
  • The annual Festival of Lights offers patrons entertainment and a night out in the Zoo for all ages.
  • The evening includes an enchanting collection of illuminated life-size animal characters, entertainment, food and a craft night market.
  • Visit www.sandtontimes.co.za for more stories.

The Festival of Lights is open from 7pm to 10pm daily (except Mondays) and visitors can enjoy a tranquil walk in the Zoo on a lit route – away from the animals – under trees decorated with enchanting lights.
