Dubai Tourism 2023 South Africa Roadshow Kicks-Off This Week

The Dubai Department for Economy and Tourism (DET), is visiting South Africa’s main hubs, including greater Sandton, for its 2023 South Africa Roadshow.

This event will be an opportunity for South African travel agents and stakeholders to network with stakeholders in the Dubai hospitality market.
The 2023 South Africa Roadshow looks to aid South African travel professionals with opportunities to deliver to their clients.
The DET is the principal authority for the planning, supervision, development and marketing of Dubai’s business and tourism sectors.

The multi city 2023 South Africa Roadshow will take place in three cities, commencing in Cape Town on March 13, 2023, then Durban on March 15, 2023 and will end in Johannesburg on March 17, 2023. The 2022 edition of the roadshow, which happened in the same three cities from August 15 to 19 last year, was a resounding success.

Highlights of the road show, span across travel, hospitality, entertainment and Dubai’s citywide events, with a focus on leisure, family travel, education and medical tourism. Key elements of the event will include breakout network sessions, partner presentations, one-on-one meetings and lucky draws.

With the ultimate vision of positioning Dubai as the world’s leading commercial centre, investment hub and tourism destination, Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) is mandated to support the Government in achieving its competitiveness vision to position the emirate as a major hub for global economy and tourism, and in boosting the emirate’s economic and tourism competitiveness indicators.

Some of the organizations that will accompany DET to South Africa include Hotels, Airlines and other stakeholders in the Dubai Tourism ecosystem.
