Without giving too much away, in ‘No Time To Die’, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

As one of the most successful film franchises in cinema history, it’s no surprise that marketers around the world gravitate towards the spy so many love. As part of the latest release, The Sandton Times has compiled some items that caught our eye, and give us all a slice of the 007 life:

THE SEAMASTER DIVER 300M 007 EDITION

The Seamaster Diver 300m 007 Edition can be chosen on a titanium mesh bracelet with its innovative adjustable buckle, or on a striped NATO strap in dark brown, grey and beige, with 007 engraved on the loop. Image: OMEGA

In his 9th film with OMEGA, James Bond is on a mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist, which turns out to be far more treacherous than expected. As ever, 007 is equipped with his faithful Seamaster as he follows the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

On-screen, fans can spot three OMEGA watches worn by the movie heroes. James Bond (Daniel Craig) wears the lightweight Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, which is packed with innovation and style. New agent Nomi (Lashana Lynch) wears a 38mm Seamaster Aqua Terra with a black dial and black NATO strap, and Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) is equipped with a 27.4mm De Ville Prestige on a hunter green leather strap.

This film marks 25 years of OMEGA and James Bond, which began with GoldenEye in 1995.

Triumph has announced a new limited-edition motorcycle inspired by the Tiger 900 Rally Pro, which features in stunt sequences in ‘No Time To Die’.

Strictly limited to just 250 motorcycles, the new Tiger 900 Bond Edition celebrates the iconic British partnership between James Bond and Triumph. Each of these stunning motorcycles are individually numbered and come with a signed certificate of authenticity. The Tiger 900 Bond Edition features a unique and eye-catching Matt Sapphire Black paint scheme and 007 graphics. The motorcycle also comes with a premium, billet machined handlebar clamp, with the bike’s unique limited edition number.

Along with all of the Tiger 900 Rally Pro’s category-dominating specifications the new limited edition also comes with an additional pair of high-performance Michelin Anakee Wild handbook approved off-road tyres (in addition to the factory fitted Bridgestone Battlax tyres), and a premium Arrow Silencer, which features a lightweight brushed stainless steel body, with a carbon end cap and strap.

ANANTARA LAYAN’S RESIDENCES UBER-LUX GOLDEN GUN EXPERIENCE

007
This extravagant experience also includes a glamorous yacht cruise around Phang Nga Bay, where The Man with the Golden Gun was filmed, during which guests can sip free-flowing Krug champagne and tuck into a gourmet barbecue prepared by the onboard private chef. Image: Anantara

Imagine boarding a private jet from Bangkok to Phuket, before being whisked by a chauffeur-driven limousine to Villa Similan – perched high on a hill with ocean and jungle views. Now you can! This lavish eight-bedroom property is part of Anantara Layan’s Residences uber-lux Golden Gun Experience and oozes suave sophistication, including a live-in butler and an on-call private chef and spa therapist.

A glass-clad wine room leads to the pièce de résistance: a 007-esque ‘man cave’ complete with leather sofas, an antique carved billiards table and the original legendary golden gun. Guests can also enjoy a cruise to James Bond island and enjoying countless Martini’s, dare I say, shaken not stirred.

OFFICIAL CHAMPAGNE OF 007

007
Champagne Bollinger appeared for the very first time alongside James Bond in the novel by Ian Fleming ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ published in 1956. Image: Champagne Bollinger

In celebration of over 40 years of partnership as the Official Champagne of 007 and Bond’s latest film ‘No Time To Die’, Champagne Bollinger has launched an exclusive limited edition that brings together three icons: Bollinger’s signature Special Cuvée, the Aston Martin DB5 and the legendary British secret agent, James Bond.

Honouring the most perfect of partnerships, the limited-edition gift box features the silhouette of James Bond alongside his Aston Martin DB5. The colourway of the gift box echoes the silver birch finish of the DB5. The Bollinger lettering and logos are depicted in gold, and the iconic Special Cuvée bottle has been adapted to feature a black and gold neck collar with a 007 blazon.

JAGUAR XF – NO TIME TO DRIVE

007
Renowned for its unrivalled blend of ride, handling and refinement, the XF was put through its paces in pursuit of James Bond on the streets of southern Italy in the twenty-fifth 007 film. Image: Jaguar

Filmed in Matera, Southern Italy, two Jaguar XF saloons weaved through the narrow, twisting city streets, driving across piazzas and down cobbled steps in pursuit of James Bond.

Both XFs feature Jaguar’s all-wheel-drive system with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics, which delivered incredible levels of traction on the low-grip surfaces as ‘No Time To Die’s’ henchmen demonstrate that no street is too small and no corner too tight. The saloon’s lightweight aluminum-intensive architecture and advanced suspension design enable exceptional handling and agility together with outstanding ride, comfort, and refinement.

‘No Time To Die’ opened in cinemas across South Africa this weekend.
