Around 60 suspects were apprehended by Sandton SAPS during various integrated operations conducted in the past week.

This past weekend, two male suspects were arrested and brought before the Alexandra Magistrate Court following a robbery at Petervale Clinic. The suspects aged 24 and 28 were arrested for business robbery whilst fleeing the scene on foot, at the corner of Rivonia Road and Witkoppen Road.
One suspect was found in possession of a laptop, Department of Health jacket and a stolen cellphone. No firearms were recovered by the police.
Further arrests this past week included 3 for malicious damage to property; 2 for assault common; 2 for business robbery; 3 for theft; 2 for trespassing and possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle; 6 for shoplifting; 2 for theft under false pretences; 6 for shoplifting; 1 driving while under the influence of alcohol and 1 crimen injuria.
