The Gin School at The Indaba Hotel is a 3-hour session where participants are guided through the process of making their own gin. The session starts with a brief history of gin and its production, followed by an introduction to the botanicals used in gin-making. Participants are then given the opportunity to select their botanicals and create their own unique recipe. Learn a little more about the history and nuances of gin as a Gin Master leads you through a curated tasting of the award winning Milorho Gin range including Classic, Wooded and Pink Gin.

Once participants have created their recipe, they are given the opportunity to distill their own gin using a mini copper still. During the distillation process, the gin is infused with the botanicals, resulting in a unique and personalized flavor profile. After the gin has been distilled, participants are given the opportunity to bottle and label their gin, creating a one-of-a-kind bottle of gin to take home. The Gin School is led by a professional mixologist who is knowledgeable in the history and production of gin. The mixologist provides guidance throughout the session and ensures that participants have a fun and educational experience.
