This Mother’s Day, The Maslow Hotel in Sandton is going all out for mom, with a decadent lunch served up from 1pm, which includes a Hendrick’s Gin welcome drink experience upon arrival and live entertainment. Several food stations will be laid out with options to please the entire family. Spicing things up will be a Mexican station, serving tacos and nachos or a Chimichanga with ground beef, sour cream, marinated onions and dirty rice with red kidney beans topped with guacamole. The popular curry station includes lamb curry, butter chicken or vegetable daal gosht.

What is Sunday lunch without the traditional roast options, such as rosemary roast beef, lemon and herb roast chicken, as well as the Chef’s catch of the day, wok-fried gnocchi simmered in arrabbiata sauce and baked eggplant with honey and cinnamon butternut served with a creamy béchamel sauce.

For something sweet, mama’s trifle, apple crumble, vanilla cupcakes with rainbow icing, green tea and lime tart, red velvet doughnuts and warm chocolate pudding with pistachio nuts, served with crème anglaise will tempt you into sweet oblivion.

Check-in on Saturday May 8, 2021 for a night’s accommodation in a twin room. On Sunday May 9, 2021, enjoy a breakfast for 2, then check-out and indulge in a Mother’s Day lunch for 4 people – bring dad and another to join you both!

Relaxation at The Maslow Hotel means breath-taking views overlooking the city at the Africology Spa, where body and mind surrender to the healing powers of relaxation. All Africology Spa products and treatments are natural, holistic and Eco-friendly, and there’s even a range of pampering treatments specially designed for little ones. Please note that between check-in on the Saturday and checkout on the Sunday, you must book your Africology Spa treatment for 2.
