This year, the Top 30 Miss South Africa finalists vying for the title are a testament to the competition’s commitment to diversity and excellence. These beautiful, diverse, and powerful women come from all corners of South Africa, each bringing unique stories and aspirations to the stage. They represent the richness of South Africa’s heritage and the future of its leadership.

 

As in previous years, the Miss South Africa organization provides the tools and the platform to shape young South African women into leaders who embrace their self-worth, own their powerful voice, inspire others, and catalyze social impact. Each contestant is nurtured to develop into a strong, independent woman capable of driving change in her community and beyond.

1. Janeke van Tonder
Age: 23
Province: Free State
Janeke grew up on a farm near Hennenman. She has an honours degree in Consumer Sciences and works for a media monitoring company in Johannesburg. Describing herself as fun-loving and optimistic, she values integrity, altruism, and accountability. She hopes to meet Minister of Agriculture Thoko Didiza to discuss the impact of smallholder farms on the South African economy.

 

2. Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina
Age: 23
Province: Gauteng
From Soweto, Chidimma is a model, netball player, and Bachelor of Law student at Varsity College. Passionate about sports and advocating against violence towards women and children, she is ambitious, confident, and optimistic. Her motto is “dreams are valid when actions are taken”.

 

3. Nokulunga Zungu
Age: 29
Province: KwaZulu-Natal
From Umlazi, Nokulunga holds a B Com business degree and is pursuing her honours at the University of South Africa. A child of God with a gracious and loving spirit, she encourages youth to prioritize education and advocates for investment in South African creatives by the Department of Arts and Culture.

 

4. Nobuhle Langa
Age: 26
Province: Mpumalanga
From Emalahleni, Nobuhle is an audit trainee aiming to become a Chartered Accountant. Founder of the Langelihle Youth Foundation, she holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science from Wits University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy from IAS. She describes herself as resilient, graceful, and fearless. She would like to meet Imtiaz Sooliman, founder of Gift of the Givers, to discuss ways for citizens to give back to society.

 

5. Layla Zoubair
Age: 29
Province: Gauteng
From Kempton Park, Layla is outgoing, outspoken, and thrives on challenges and exploration. Her inquisitive nature fuels her passion for learning and growth.

 

6. Sinenhlanhla Mthethwa
Age: 23
Province: KwaZulu-Natal
From Richards Bay, Sinenhlanhla is a model and entrepreneur with a psychology degree from the University of Zululand. She runs her clothing business, Cassie M Clothing, and describes herself as a go-getter. She aims to curb woman-to-woman hate and promote entrepreneurship among youth to fight unemployment.

 

7. Kebalepile Ramafoko
Age: 25
Province: Mpumalanga
From Emalahleni, Kebalepile has a BA in Psychology and Languages and is pursuing her honours. A skills development facilitator passionate about sports and youth empowerment, she believes in creating equal opportunities through sports. Determined, welcoming, and fun-loving, she enjoys making people laugh and showing up for others.

8. Danae Kukard
Age: 24
Province: Eastern Cape
From East London, Danae is a teacher who studied at Stellenbosch University. She considers herself strong-willed, hardworking, and a go-getter, thriving on connection. She is passionate about empowering youth through mentorship, education, culture, and sport.

 

9. Lethaukuthula Ayanda Maseko
Age: 24
Province: Gauteng
Known as the “Diamond From Daveyton”, Lethaukuthula describes herself as a beacon of hope and resilience. Raised in Daveyton, she has transformed the pressures of her surroundings into strength, illuminating a path for others to forge their own paths.

 

10. Madri van Jaarsveld
Age: 27
Province: Gauteng
From Boksburg, Madri is a newly married businesswoman with an accounting sciences degree from the University of Pretoria. She describes herself as hardworking, loyal, and resilient. She aims to continue her late mother’s legacy of serving the community of diverse abilities.

 

11. Shane Maloney
Age: 20
Province: Gauteng
From Woodhill, Pretoria, Shane is a B Com marketing and management science student, photographer, and English TEFL teacher. Describing herself as a warrior, she is kind, soft-hearted, and cares for others. She hopes to meet former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Tebow to learn more about her book “A Crown That Lasts”.

 

12. Naledi Matlakala
Age: 24
Province: Gauteng
From Midrand, Naledi is a B Com Law student with a BA in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Pretoria. A highly spirited soul, she is committed to transforming communities through accessible and inclusive information and resources.

 

13. Andrea Morrison
Age: 25
Province: KwaZulu-Natal
From Durban, Andrea has a Bachelor of Education and an Honours Degree from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. A high school English teacher, she is assertive about her passions and advocates for equality among South African schools.

 

14. Lebohang Khoza
Age: 27
Province: KwaZulu-Natal
From Maritzburg, Lebohang is an educator of the performing arts, choreographer, and actor with a BA in Performing Arts from the University of KwaZulu Natal. Passionate and open-minded, she aims to introduce performing arts therapy into education.

Age: 28

Born in Sasolburg and raised in Oudtshoorn, Mia is a marketing manager, model, and part-time B Com Marketing student. Diagnosed with profound hearing loss at one, she was supported by her community and now aspires to make a positive impact and break barriers. Resilient, dedicated, graceful, and kind, she is driven by her experiences.

 

16. Ontshiametse Tlhopane
Age: 23
Province: Gauteng
From Protea Glen, Soweto, Ontshiametse is an aspiring model with qualifications in criminology. She founded #SafeHere to positively impact children’s lives. Described as friendly, kind, and empathetic, she believes in providing opportunities and resources for everyone to pursue greatness.

 

17. Onalenna Constantin
Age: 26
Province: North West
From Potchefstroom, Onalenna is a model, law student, entrepreneur, and content creator. Describing herself as resilient and graceful, she aims to meet policymakers to advocate for social workers in every school to ensure social justice for women and children.

 

18. Taahira Katz
Age: 25
Province: Gauteng
From Nancefield, Johannesburg, Taahira holds a degree in Social Science and has traveled as an international model. Passionate about learning and new experiences, she aims to work with organizations focused on mental health.

 

19. Palesa Lombard
Age: 25
Province: Gauteng
From Waverley, Johannesburg, Palesa is a dynamic and high-achieving individual. A final year medical student interested in neurological pathologies, she speaks multiple languages and balances her creative and scientific interests.

 

20. Demoivre “Nolo Dee” Bjalane
Age: 26
Province: Limpopo
From Monsterlus, Limpopo, Demoivre is a media practitioner, model, and MC specializing in brand strategy. Founder of Nfoundation, she has been nominated for prestigious awards. She aims to inspire others with her innovative approach and dedication to creating positive change.

 

21. Nolene Spinks
Age: 23
Province: Eastern Cape
Representing Gqeberha, Nolene is a Montessori preschool teacher who dreams big and works hard. She recently launched her first solo single “Hou Bene Hou” and plans to release another song later this year.

23. Denechia Lowings
Age: 24
Province: Gauteng
From Centurion, Denechia is hardworking, independent, and always aiming for higher outcomes. A go-getter, she wants to help others achieve their potential and make a positive change.

 

24. Kaylan Zeelie
Age: 21
Province: Eastern Cape
Originally from Uitenhage, Kaylan now lives in Bloemfontein pursuing an LLB at the University of the Free State. She values kindness, empathy, and active listening and is guided by determination and loyalty.

28. Nompumelelo Maduna
Age: 28
Province: Gauteng
From Rockville, Soweto, Nompumelelo is a marketer and master’s student at the University of Johannesburg. Also an aspiring saxophonist, she is generous, goal-driven, hardworking, and kind. She hopes to perform in an orchestra in honor of her music-loving father.

 

29. Kirsten Khan
Age: 26
Province: Gauteng
