The 18th year of the South African leg of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge takes place at The Wanderers Club on March 30, 2023 at 6:30pm and entries have opened.

• The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge race series has promoted workplace health since 1977.
• After a successful line-up of races in 2019, the Series had to pivot to a virtual format in 2020-2021 as the world locked down due to COVID-19.

The 2023 global J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge race series will formally kick-off in Johannesburg. The event will unite runners around the world in fifteen cities including Argentina, Australia, China, England, Germany, Singapore, the United States, and South Africa.

We are thrilled to be back on the Johannesburg suburbs roads again, and be the first J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge host city to return to full capacity participation. In continuing our purpose of promoting employee wellness, we encourage South African company teams to join us for an evening of fitness, friendly competition and fun by signing up for the race before registration closes on March 3. Participating in the global running series brings a sense of personal achievement, and our plans to bring you a memorable event are well underway.

On race day, the top performing South African corporate runners are known to log remarkable finishing times of around 17 and 21-minutes between the first male and female runners respectively. Streaming in behind the winners, is a crowd of up to 14’000 energized South Africans from all cultures, fitness levels and corporate hierarchy eager to collect their finisher medals.

Having clinched a medal and some refreshments, participants will be able to take-in some live entertainment before heading home for a much needed shower.

Office gym-bunnies, cross fit junkies, lunch time yoga-tribers, the after-work running group and the “January-joggers” are all encouraged to register a team for the Johannesburg J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge. Entries close on March 3, 2023, or when capacity is reached and can be done by clicking on the registration link on the race website.
