Believe it or not but the Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022 is here! The last four World Cup tournaments have flown by and to think it was nearly 12 years ago that we were all driving around with South African flags on our car side mirrors in support of the 2010 FIFA World Cup that South Afirca hosted. To ensure that same gees is felt this year, The Sandton Times has rounded up the best spots to watch Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022 in and around Sandton.

On average (across 34 nations), more than half of all individuals intend to watch the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will take place in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, reveals a recent Ipsos survey.

The 39% who claim to follow football are outnumbered by the 55% who plan to watch at least some of the month-long event. 3 out of 10 predict they will miss work or school to watch games, and the majority of those who plan to watch do so with friends and family. Many also plan to watch with co-workers, according to the survey.

Following Brazil (in terms of expectations to win the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022), Germany, Argentina, and France are hot favourites.
