Yes, there is no Thanksgiving holiday in South Africa yet Black Friday has grown to be a retail festival of note, with no one wanting to miss out on great deals. Whilst cheap Emirates flights or British Airways flights are always popular, there is no need to leave the country to cash in on big savings. More so, you don’t even need to leave your house in 2021! There is certainly no better day to get great deals on South African domestic flights and international flight bookings.

Many South African retailers have not only caught on to Black Friday but have also turned to online platforms, to be able to offer incredible deals at a safe distance, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Yet if the Covid-19 pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that material goods are probably not as important as some of those memories and experiences, we had a chance to reflect on whilst in lockdown, with many yearning for those days of sunset beach cocktails, snow-capped mountain ski holidays, turquoise water snorkeling or ancient city sightseeing.
