HÄAGEN-DAZS OPENS CAFÉ IN THE ZONE AT ROSEBANK
Gourmet ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs has opened its luxurious Häagen-Dazs café in The Zone at Rosebank, Johannesburg.
The brand celebrated this major development with a reception, attended by the city’s dignitaries, prominent citizens and introduce them to the range of exclusive flavours developed by the Haute Couture of ice-cream brands.

The Häagen-Dazs The Zone café opening forms part of the new food court, dubbed Food @ The Zone, which enables moviegoers, families and entertainment-lovers to relax in a open-plan, self-serve dining space, with access to some of South Africa’s favourite fast-food vendors and sit-down restaurants, including Panarotti’s, Spur, Simply Asia, Wakaberry, Sweets From Heaven, Jimmy’s Killer Prawns and Häagen-Dazs. Project construction began towards the end of last year, with the development team being careful not to disrupt the trading environment by fast-tracking the rollout period and ensuring existing services operated as normal.

Shoppers will also have access to a smart-connect area with wifi, TV and desk plugs.”

The Häagen-Dazs The Zone café joins the brand’s existing outlets in South Africa, bringing the number of cafes to 7 in total. This comes ahead of an ambitious expansion drive which should see Häagen-Dazs extend its hospitality and experience closer to consumers throughout South Africa.
This is in line with a most successful year in the region for the Haute Couture of ice cream brands.
