Four Seasons Sets Sail With Game-Changing Yacht In 2026

Four Seasons is redefining the world of luxury travel with the upcoming launch of its first yacht, Four Seasons I, setting sail in January 2026.

  • In collaboration with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings and Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, the brand is introducing a new era of hospitality at sea.
  • The yacht will offer 95 residential-style suites and a host of refined experiences that reflect the brand’s hallmark elegance and attention to detail.
  • Following its maiden voyages through the Caribbean in the winter and spring, the yacht will cruise the Mediterranean during the summer season each year.
  • Visit www.sandtontimes.co.za for more stories.

The yacht will feature 95 lavish suites, each with private terraces and seamless indoor-outdoor living. The pinnacle of luxury is the four-level Funnel Suite, with over 9’500 square feet of space, a private spa, wading pool, and a $4.5-million wraparound glass installation for panoramic sea views.

Innovations include a transverse marina with water sports access, sea limousines, and a 62-meter saltwater pool that transforms into an event space. These features reflect the project’s emphasis on exclusivity, design, and immersive ocean living. Voyage reservations will begin on an invitation-only basis for loyal Four Seasons guests and partners. A bespoke client service team will manage bookings, with a waitlist available.

The 2025/26 season will include seven-day itineraries in 33 countries and 137 destinations, with exclusive Four Seasons pre- and post-cruise offerings. Leading the onboard experience is cruise executive Damien O’Connor, supported by an elite team to ensure the brand’s service extends from ship to shore.

Among its many standout features, Four Seasons I will showcase an extraordinary collection of 11 restaurant and bar concepts designed to elevate every moment at sea. Each venue has been meticulously curated by Four Seasons chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists to provide a culinary journey as memorable as the destinations themselves. Menus will evolve regularly to keep every offering fresh and unique, spanning indulgent omakase experiences, refined Mediterranean dishes, and inventive cocktails.

At the heart of this culinary collection is Sedna, the yacht’s signature fine dining restaurant. With a rotating roster of master chefs-in-residence drawn from Four Seasons properties worldwide, Sedna delivers a refined dining experience rooted in modern French techniques with global flair. Terrasse offers an elegant yet casual Mediterranean menu inspired by the glamour of the Côte d’Azur, while Miuna provides an intimate omakase setting for just 16 guests, showcasing the art of sushi with the finest seafood and curated beverage pairings.

For lighter fare, Pistachio is the yacht’s pâtisserie and café located by the lobby, serving artisanal coffee, fresh pastries, gelato, and sweet treats throughout the day. Lounge and bar venues are equally compelling, each with its own character. The Salon functions as the yacht’s “living room” where guests can enjoy all-day service, afternoon tea, or pre-dinner cocktails in a refined yet relaxed setting. Poolside indulgence comes alive at Bar Piscine, offering Mediterranean bites, playful cocktails, and even a mobile Mojito experience complete with ice carved on the spot.

Guests seeking elevated pairings can step into the discreet Champagne & Caviar bar, an adults-only space offering premium caviar, Balik salmon, and an exceptional Champagne list in an intimate, terrace-style setting. The Moroccan-inspired Horizon Lounge offers Levantine dishes and sunset cocktails beside a plunge pool, transforming into a serene stargazing haven by night. On days when the yacht is anchored, the Marina Bar becomes a central retreat for post-watersport relaxation and night-time revelry, complete with fold-out platforms for cocktails by the sea.

Bar O pays tribute to the golden age of cocktails with vintage spirits and tableside mixology served in a jet-set-inspired atmosphere, while the Cigar Lounge invites connoisseurs to indulge in rare cigars, spirits, and a one-of-a-kind Premier Cru chocolate pairing experience. For those who prefer privacy, in-suite dining is available 24 hours a day, allowing guests to enjoy anything from breakfast on their private terrace to multi-course meals in the comfort of their suite. With a legacy of over 600 restaurants and bars worldwide, and more Michelin stars than any other luxury hospitality brand, Four Seasons brings its culinary prestige to the seas. As it prepares to debut Four Seasons I, the brand reaffirms its reputation – this time with an ocean view.

Four Seasons Yachts has appointed Kate McCue as the inaugural captain of Four Seasons I. A graduate of the California Maritime Academy and a trailblazer in her field, Captain Kate made history in 2015 as the first American woman to captain a mega-ton cruise ship. With nearly 30 years of maritime experience and a deep passion for hospitality, she brings both technical skill and guest-centric leadership to the role.

She will oversee the yacht’s safe navigation and deliver a highly personalised onboard experience, supported by a 1:1 guest-to-staff ratio. Previously with Celebrity Cruises, where she commanded the Celebrity Beyond, Kate also championed increased female representation on ship bridges. Her new role marks a significant milestone for Four Seasons Yachts as they prepare to set new standards in luxury yachting.

As Four Seasons I prepares to welcome guests in 2026, Four Seasons is set to bring a new flavour to luxury that knows no boundaries – only endless horizons.
