ONYX IS THE NEW VIP ROOM IN SANDTON
Sandton’s newest venue, Onyx, has opened its doors with an all-black theme night.
A cornerstone club of Sandton, formally known as the VIP Room, went through an extensive redesign and refresh to reveal Onyx, within Sandton’s luxury mall The Michelangelo Towers, and forms part of the Taboo Group, owned by successful nightclub mogul, Chris Coutroulis.
The all-black or Onyx inspired evening was highlighted throughout the venue, dress code and menu with black spaghetti and salmon pieces, alongside black sushi and black burgers to name a few delights on offer.
“A gem is usually found rough and unfinished, it never appears in its most natural state completely perfect, so we wanted to polish this phenomenal location to perfection and release our gem to the World.”
Representing The Taboo Group on the night, explaining the choice of name for the venue, Jo Bodiba
